Israeli journalist Barak Ravid has written a new book, we suspect it has something to do with Bibi Netanyahu’s relationship with Donald Trump in some way or another. And Ravid got an interview with Trump as part of the book. Trump never misses an opportunity to give a book even more credibility by doing an interview for it.

Trump used the interview to demonstrate once again that absolutely everything is transactional with Trump. There are no shared principles, nothing is ever “let go,” nothing deeper. Nope, it is day to day and what someone has done for him lately.

From Rawstory:

Forward senior political reporter Jacob Kornbluh brings word that a new book written by Israeli journalist Barak Ravid features an interview with Trump in which he confirms his rage at Netanyahu for recognizing Biden’s victory.

“F*ck him,” Trump told Ravid about Netanyahu. “I haven’t spoken to him since.”

And just like that, there goes that deep and special relationship between the two.

Ravid noted that Trump claimed that Bibi was the first foreign leader to call Biden and recognize his victory, which was absolutely not true, and when Ravid corrected Trump. Try to imagine how little that mattered.

“It was early, OK?” Trump fumed. “Let’s put it this way — he greeted him very early.”

And it all gets down to loyalty for Trump. Like the mob. “I liked Bibi. I still like Bibi. But I also like loyalty. The first person to congratulate Biden was Bibi. And not only did he congratulate him, he did it on tape,” Trump told Ravid, referring to Netanyahu by his nickname.

It is probably best to bear in mind that anyone who sees Biden as the legitimate victor right now is “early” in Trump’s mind. Trump then moved on to rip some of the Israeli people themselves:

“Who are those 20 percent who do not support me in Israel?” he asked Ravid. “They are ungrateful and they are bad people.”

Quintessential Trump. He gave the Israelis so much… in his mind, and they are disloyal! No greater sin than disloyalty in Trump’s world and that makes them horrible people. It cannot possibly be that they see him as a horrible person, those ungrateful sons of…

And Trump let it all in by granting the interview, just as he always does, giving everything written about him more cred. Amazing.
