This is simply stunning. If you thought Boebert’s “It’s 1776” tweet was damning, you must see and hear what Bannon said in the days leading up to January 5th and on January 5th. It nearly indicts him on its own.

We have been predictably overwhelmed with news of what happened in and around January 6th. There is simply too much to keep a cohesive and accurate timeline as to who did what on what date.

As but one example, we have gone through a considerable effort, ever since March of this year to keep this critical, but short video at the forefront of our readers’ minds with regard to what certain representatives knew and when:

An explanation as to what there was to “plan” that involved someone who was not even sworn into Congress at the time is necessary.

In a similar way, we must now all commit to remembering exactly what Steve Bannon said into a camera and microphone on his show days before January 5th because it, in and of itself, explains why he would refuse to testify and take his chances with the criminal justice system.

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?

It sure sounds like Steve Bannon knew the entire plan. For those who cannot watch (the full video is below), we provide the transcript. He is addressing why Trump will be found the winner of the 2020 election beginning on January 6th.

It’s not going to happen like you think it’s going to happen. It is going to be quite different, extraordinarily different. And all I can say is strap in. The war room, a posse. YOU have made this happen, and tomorrow it is Game Day.

President Trump’s first term is ending with action, and the second term is going to begin with a BANG. That, we guarantee you…

Who is “we”? The tape then jumps ahead:

… And so the fight’s [on]. This is a huge weekend. There is going to be so much going on behind the scenes, a massive fight. We’re heading toward the sixth of “June” (he clearly means January, there was no rally June 6th.)

There’s a lot happening this week. People getting revved up, people are getting fired up. People and I are getting madder, as they should.

The tape above confuses a few things, clearly he means January and – we believe, the fight “fight behind the scenes” is a presumption that Mike Pence was unable to complete his Constitutional duty on the 6th, which would guarantee a fight behind the scenes as to whether to either “delay proceedings until the states have “studied” the issue further or send the election directly to the House of Representatives and one state, one vote, guaranteed Trump win.

The tape then skips ahead, Bannon is interviewing John Eastman, the infamous DOJ employee that wrote the memorandum on how Trump could win (involved sending election to the House) which led to the threat of mass resignations at DOJ if implemented:

You and I happened to be on a call last night, it was so brilliant, to go through the framework of this week.

(This was January 5th and anticipating the fight to go to Congress with Pence gone. Remember, Pence refused to get into a Secret Service SUV deep below the Capitol, fearing a Secret Service conspiracy.

The tape skips ahead again to Bannon speaking with three guests talking about

“[T]here are a lot of tough hombres down there and I saw some of them when we had meetings down there… They were all still reviewing their plans for the day. Like one or two in the morning. I think the people are jacked up…

The tape then seems to skip behind as Bannon says:

They are all going to converge on January the 6th. We just have to impose our will on the opposition.

There it is, an admission that they are going around the Constitution to simply impose their will. Treason, sedition, a planned coup, imposing their will against an opposition, one of Americans.

The tape skips around again to days before the sixth:

We are hurtling toward something that’s going to be complicated and it’s going to be nasty. Nothing could be more turbulent than what’s going to happen this week….

… You’ve got to be there, this is going to be historic, remember this is like how the Republic fell, right? And became a totalitarian, authoritarian empire. We’re at that moment.

He clearly assumes that his audience believes Trump won the election and Biden is the one pulling off the coup.

Are we going to affirm the massive landslide or Donald Trump or are we going to return the constitutional republic to the “forces…”

We skip past some comments that seem less relevant:

People don’t see the calls, we’re skyping around, to see through the fog of war, we need to have clarity, that January 6th “was” going to be that day.

It sounds briefly as though the tape is past January 6th but we interpret it as simply picking the day, “January 6th was going to be the day..” Same principle as next paragraph.

“… or one of these big days, January 6th was going to be that day and you had to converge everything down to January 6th.

This is a wound that will not heal, we are hurtling toward a constitutional crisis that is going to make the impeachment (first one) look like a Sunday picnic…

Now Bannon is being interviewed:

This is going to be a historic day, it is going to be part of history. We want as many people to get on it as possible. 48 Hours away…”

With Giuliani

48 hours away from… [indecipherable, Rudy buts in] consequential days in American Historty.

Video credit to Media Matters.

And this is why Bannon would rather face contempt charges rather than face Congress and invoke the 5th Amendment on nearly every question.

The only other point? Where was law enforcement? The conspiracy goes much deeper. These plans were everywhere. Back-up law enforcement was nowhere.
