When Donald Trump went to Game 4 of the World Series last Saturday, I don’t think it was on his agenda to nail a little kid in the head with a fastball. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what the former president did.
The young boy had been unsuccessfully trying to get Trump’s attention for a while, and when Trump noticed, he motioned for the boy to toss him a baseball so he could autograph it for him. But that’s as close as he’ll ever get to the Hall of Fame, because after he whipped out his trademark Sharpie and signed the ball, he missiled it back to the boy.
Now, maybe it was the fault of the adult standing next to the boy who couldn’t catch the ball. But watching Donald Trump smack a kid in the brainpan with a projectile that can fracture a skull was not on the list of things I thought I would see on video.
When he was president, Trump used to brag that he could have gone pro as a player:
I was supposed to be a pro baseball player. At the New York Military Academy, I was captain of the baseball team. I worked hard like everyone else, but I had good talent.
We don’t know about any of that, but his aim these days could surely use a little work.
Here's Donald Trump, who totally could've gone pro at baseball like he said, nailing a kid in the head with a ball after signing it at the World Series. ( : loupastore27/TikTok) pic.twitter.com/Glaxt6RTez

Maybe paper towels would've been a better choice
