First of all, anyone who ever doubted that there was a conspiracy to pull off a coup on January 6th that went very very high up, perhaps to the very highest, needs to listen to Media Matters’ compilation of Steven Bannon’s comments from January 3-5th  the days before the riot, meant to be a coup. We will insert the Media Matters’ compilation below this article, it is a must-watch video that got lost in the news shuffle on a Saturday morning.

But on Friday, the very same day of Bannon’s indictment, Bannon was being the Steve Bannon that has made him one of the most hated men in politics. The clip comes from Bannon’s studio show, known as “the war room” (which takes on another meaning after watching the compilation), from Mediaite:

“We’re not complaining about it anymore. Remember, there are no whining and no tears in the War Room. We’re taking action and that action is we’re taking over school boards, we’re taking over the Republican Party through the precinct committee strategy. We’re taking over all the elections.”

When he says “we,” he is not talking about Republicans. He is talking about the most intense of the MAGAs:

“Suck on this. Ninety-five percent of the billets in Virginia were occupied of election officials and poll watchers, and that is a principal reason that we secured the election of Youngkin, ok?”

Yes, so us sneaky Dems couldn’t cheat? And then cry about fake ballots and rigged elections?

And then he goes over the edge:

“They’re there to have a free and fair count. And we’re going to continue that. And we’re gonna get to the bottom of three November and we’re going to decertify the electors, ok? And you’re going to have a constitutional crisis. But you know what? We’re a big and tough country, and we can handle that. We’ll be able to handle that. We’ll get through that.”

Right. See below as to what Bannon had planned in the days leading up to January 6th. That is something that we need to get to the bottom of.
