In a recent interview, Ivanka spoke with Yahoo Parenting about her relationships and her family life with her husband and their three children. Most of the interview revolves around the children’s hobbies and the time she spends with the children doing those hobbies and extracurricular activities. She said that, “I make sure each day I spend like thirty minutes doing something with each kid.”

A whole 30 minutes! I guess she needs keep the nannies busy, huh?

Going into detail about her daughter Arabella, the oldest of her children, she said that her personal favorite is baking. Ivanka elaborated that, “Baking is a fun thing to do with kids because there’s a lot of mixing and pouring and measuring. And that’s something we enjoy doing together.” It’s hard to imagine Trump’s ever pristine daughter getting messy in the kitchen, but anything is possible!

Another detail Ivanka shared about her family is that they always shut their phones off for 25 hours on the Sabbath, which would be Saturday due to their observance of Jewish customs. She claims that from Friday to Saturday they do not take any phone calls, and only focus on spending time together.

Of course she has broken the Sabbath before, for her father’s inauguration, for example. To break Sabbath they get permission to break the religious laws from their rabbi.

While Ivanka and her husband try to spend quality time with all of their kids, the grandchildren of Donald Trump are not sitting around all day with their parents. Apparently the extracurricular activities that they engage in include not just simple things like baking, but also range from learning an instrument to learning Mandarin Chinese.

Ivanka also talks about her children’s relationship with her father, which she says is a very affectionate one. She spoke on how she appreciates her parents instilling the right moral values in her. It’s hard to imagine, however, that the values she is instilling in her own children would be considered moral by most people, especially if their grandfather has a big role in their upbringing.
