Donald Trump has been on his fair share of angry rants, many of which cease to include any real information or facts, and his most recent topic for these diatribes has been the passing of the large infrastructure bill proposed by Joe Biden. The bill passed with 13 votes from GOP congress members, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and freshman Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY).

Malliotakis was a member of the audience at the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner, where Trump went on one of his famous tirades.

She appeared upset and shaken to be one of those that he attacked in his speech, along with the 12 other GOP representatives that voted similarly. Whether or not Donald Trump knew she was there and was intentionally trying to upset her, he certainly managed to do so.

Donald Trump also personally attached Mitch McConnell on Tuesday in regards to the bill. In a partially-coherent statement with vague references to his own time in office, he said: “Why is it that Old Crow Mitch McConnell voted for a terrible Democrat Socialist Infrastructure Plan, and induced others in his Party to do likewise, when he was incapable of getting a great Infrastructure Plan wanting to be put forward by me and the Republican Party?”

The bill passed on Friday with a vote of 228-206, after a very long period of media speculation. Without the support of the 13 GOP representatives, the bill would not have been able to pass. This could be a positive sign for the future of the two parties working together to accomplish goals that would actually help the American people, even if it does upset extremists from either party.
