There are a lot of us that have no right to mock anyone who misspells anything… under normal circumstances. But if someone is going to risk writing out something on which a mistake might result in jail, we’re probably going to at least run that through a spell-check, 40-50 times, from three to four different versions of spell-check.

Hawaii has always guarded its isolation quite closely. Whenever supply planes land, they are searched extensively for various fruit flies and definitely snakes. If a snake is found in a box of some crop from somewhere or especially Guam (long story), it makes the local news. There are no land snakes native to Hawaii. There are some sea snakes that basically never leave the water. But if snakes got loose in Hawaii there would be no predator population and the many beautiful bird species would suffer.

Pets have to be quarantined a long time, because – of course, are no rabies cases in Hawaii.

They would prefer to isolate themselves from COVID (as much as possible), too. Thus Hawaii is requiring people to be vaccinated upon visiting. One better have a real vaccination card, preferably with everything spelled correctly. From Hawaii News Now:

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Another visitor to Hawaii has been arrested for allegedly using a fake vaccine card to fly to the islands.

On the card was one major error that was a red flag for authorities: “Moderna” was misspelled as “Maderna,” court documents allege.

State investigators said they received a tip that 24-year-old Chloe Mrozak of Oak Lawn, Illinois may have uploaded the false documents under the state’s Safe Travels Program to bypass traveler quarantine rules.

Ron DeSantis in Florida is practically begging people with COVID to come vacation in his state. Hawaii requires vaccinations and is extensively investigating and arresting those with fake cards. It just goes to show the difference between states run by Democrats and those run by MAGAs. Pay attention California.
