The guy who, all along, has known more about COVID than Dr. Fauci, or any doctor, and got COVID to the point that he near lost his life, is again using that razor-sharp judgment and those honed instincts that have served him so well in every other aspect of his life, yes – that guy, has made a determination. Trump probably won’t get a booster shot for COVID, he doesn’t think it’s for him.
Or he’ll get the booster the way he got his first vax, from his plug in a back alley, away from cameras, couple hundred in cash, pay enough to get a couple extra “for later.” If he does it that way, then he can come out in front of the cameras and say he’s already proven COVID can’t beat him, so, no need. It doesn’t matter that he now sounds anti-vax and that may cost ten-thousand lives, the measure is his future, always.
According to the Wall Street Journal:
Former President Donald Trump, who received a Covid-19 vaccination before leaving the White House this year, said he is unlikely to receive the booster shot that U.S. health regulators are expected to approve in the coming months.
“I feel like I’m in good shape from that standpoint—I probably won’t,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I’ll look at stuff later on. I’m not against it, but it’s probably not for me.”
The initial booster campaign, federal health officials have said, may include recommending shots for people over 65 because they are seen as more vulnerable than younger people. Mr. Trump is 75.
Of course, the Wall Street Journal – being Murdoch’s publication – doesn’t mention that the same sort of thinking about universal masking, “they’re not for me,” managed to get himself a nasty case of COVID in the most controlled environment on earth. They also failed to mention that not only was Trump much sicker than the White House ever communicated, but he nearly died of COVID-Propper, not the new and improved “COVID-Delta,” which is hitting Florida like tidal wave. But hey, look, who would know better what’s for him than him, right?
Ask Trump any question about Trump and you’re speaking to the only expert, from his perspective, of course. “It’s not for me…” Pffftt, funny, but he’s no longer president precisely because enough voters said the same thing about him. Hard pass, he’s not for me.
