We aren’t sure who decides programming over at CNN, but something special is happening during Jim Acosta’s programs during the middle of the day on weekends, not a prime time spot. Acosta has made a name for himself from being entirely unafraid of calling bullsh*t, literally, on Fox News, and that part of the Right that is acting insanely.

It is not that Acosta is a Democrat, and it’s not even that Accosta is anti-Trump so much as he wants them to live in the real world and abide by real rules and stop being so openly racist. He especially likes to target Tucker Carlson as he did today:

“Over on Fox, human manure spreader Tucker Carlson has floated yet another race-baiting conspiracy theory that tens of thousands of Afghan refugees are being sent over to this country in order to change the outcome of elections

It is a ridiculous argument. The U.S. airlifted out 120,000 Afghans total, not all will be allowed to stay in the U.S. But pretend they do, they would all have to be sent to the same political district to have any impact. Biden beat Trump by seven million votes. Oh, and people are not allowed to vote until they are full citizens, which will take at least five years. It is pure racism.

Acosta then turned his eyes to Texas and the shocking law that the SCOTUS refused to enjoin this week. We have called it Sharia Law this week. Acosta picks up on the same themes. it was “sort of like an American Taliban.”

“It is starting to look like a combination of theocracy and thugocracy,” Acosta explained. “The leaders of this MAGAban movement, people Marjorie, Madison and Tucker, they’re not counting on an intelligence failure or a lack of planning on your part. They’re counting on a lack of courage to stand up for your rights in this country. Does that ring a bell?”

“The anti-immigration, anti-democratic, anti-women’s rights forces have all sought these kinds of changes for years, even decades, in this country. Their operation to change America forever is well underway,

They are attempting to change America forever and one necessary element is rendering neutral and liberal voices irrelevant. We have said this for some time, Russia is the model. Russia has elections, too – they just don’t mean anything because the same people rule, the same way, and can be brutal on those who oppose their power.
