Earlier, we reported on the fact that Fox cut Junior off, completely, almost mid-interview – though not mid-sentence, because Junior looked, to put it charitably as possible, “off.” Junior was practically yelling, speaking like he was in a fight, or in the midst of a panic attack. But we didn’t really focus on the words that came out of that hole in his face.
The staff at this site cannot be the only ones tired of hearing about “strength” being the only quality worth having from the Trump perspective. Strength might be the only quality worth having if one defined it correctly. Strength to love unconditionally, strength to persevere, strength to take the right risks, the strength to be honest about weakness… they seem to define strength through alpha male permission to be the world’s most-hated dick.
Junior couldn’t possibly have been more specific in his definition of “strength.” But the truly hilarious part is that Junior also thinks that his dad outsmarted them. This is the same guy, Trump, who took it directly on the chin for inviting the Taliban leaders to Camp David for a weekend, one close to the date of 9/11, an idea so stupid that the White House had to retract the idea after obvious public outcry.
From Mediaite, on what Junior had to say on Hannity:
Trump Jr. told Hannity, “The only thing these animals respect and understand is strength, and Joe Biden exudes nothing but weakness. Donald Trump exuded strength, so they knew he was not someone to be trifled with. They knew he was not someone to mess with.”
He went on to say his father “had the brainpower to actually negotiate like a real businessman, not a bureaucrat politician with no real world experience.”
“He wouldn’t have walked away without having conditions met. He wouldn’t have given them I’ve read 65 billion in U.S. equipment. He wouldn’t have allowed that and they wouldn’t have even thought to mess with him,” Trump added.
Except Trump did all of that, all of it, including walking away from equipment, in Syria. This, quite literally, is a list of things Trump did in Syria, and which Biden – for the most part – did not do in Afghanistan, at least not to the same proportion.
Strength and smarts, as demonstrated by Trump’s failures in Syria. Amazing. Then Junior got cut off by Hannity, though it wasn’t for the stupid stuff, it was for the “performance” part.
