#Morning Joe was trending this morning close to the top for one reason only, video from an insane school board meeting outside of Franklin Tennessee. Joe called it out, from the video alone, that the police officer who was standing right there (!) needed to arrest the guy talking about knowing where the school board member lives.

But the cop didn’t. After all, the anti-vaxer (surely MAGA) was white. American LEO aren’t here to arrest white people.

We are done dividing MAGA heads and anti-masking/anti-vaxers. No, not every Trump voter is an insane anti-masker/vaxxer but every “anti” is a MAGA head and the stats just show too much overlap. None of them voted for Joe Biden and everyone knows it. And, though not every white cop is a Trumper, most are, and everyone knows it.

Therein lies the problem. Like the frog that supposedly never jumps (they do), this country slowly boiled itself to this point where we are essentially in a Cold Civil War that now extends beyond even politics. Yes, public health measures were always a little political but they were disagreements, not “life-threatening” stuff, that only came along with MAGA hatred of liberals. And the police are way too far on the wrong side.

There are no “both sides” in anything anymore. There is one side that calls out sexual harassment. There is one side that favors voting. One side favoring government by normal measures. There is one side that maintains some common sense about medical advice in an epidemic. There is only one side that even somewhat respects the other side’s right to be an American and live however they want, without hurting anyone. No, by a vast “real majority” (as opposed to voting majorities), 60-66%, we’ll call them “Joe Biden people,” are this country’s last stand.

Far too many cops are silently in that minority because there is no other explanation for this. This is where the country stands, an anti-masker threatening lives over masks(!), and a cop standing there. If one had the state legislature just standing behind the ant-vaxer and cop, we’d have the perfect encapsulation of the United States, government by minority, militant, bullies:

That is what this has become, a death cult. They don’t care if democracy dies – they’d “dying” to bring it down, and they don’t care if your kid gets COVID and dies. When their child ends up in the ICU, then maybe they have regrets, only then do we hear, “we wish…”

And remember, they get away with this because they are white, period, end of the story. That cop could easily have agreed with the guy threatening the lives of the board members. We cannot pretend there is anything “both sides” anymore, of anything, sadly.
