We published a piece on this very thing early yesterday, and apparently, it has taken a Nancy Pelosi letter (also covered this morning) and a few more hours, this afternoon, for Twitter to really catch up in its anger about Donald Trump’s most chilling statement in months, putting Capitol Hill Police’ lives in danger because of his need to make Ashli Babbit a martyr, while transforming the riot into something justified and good.

Quite frankly, people are fcking sick of it and him.

First, they’re sick of him using presidential statements that are then posted to Twitter by his spokesperson on her account, for all intents and purposes, avoiding his ban.

But mostly they are sick of a movement that lionizes a man like Trump, accused of more assaults than… a movement that considers a young white kid with a rifle a hero, a movement which hates the Capitol Hill Police but sympathizes with Officer Chauvin, and, well – it’s all about Trump, and “whiteness,” which goes hand in hand, stronger and stronger, with each passing month.

Trump says that “everyone knows” who shot Ashli Babbitt (the police and courts are trying to protect his identity to protect his life) while tenderly consoling Babbitt’s “wonderful mother,” in an environment where there was so much love in the air.

“So much love in the air” sounds like a cliche one would read in a history book about a ruthless dictator who believed that all homage to him was “righteous” and “selfless.” Upon reading it, one would shake their head and say how could people be so stupid?

Well, not everyone is that stupid, the vast majority are not stupid, and they lit Twitter up this afternoon:

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?
