Trump is going absolutely nuts about the fact that something might actually work in Washington that improves the lives of Americans and doesn’t destroy the lives of brown people trying to get to America. It also improves the lives of the right kind of Americans, those who live near the poverty line, which is close to half of all Americans, instead of pumping hard the top 2% and a bone thrown at the 50% that gets all the news.

So here we go, the big temper-tan-Trump, of August 7, 2021: (All Errors in the Original)

“Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill is a disgrace. If Mitch McConnell was smart, which we’ve seen no evidence of, he would use the debt ceiling card to negotiate a good infrastructure package.”

Smart like Trump, who had both houses of Congress and an overwhelming SCOTUS, but couldn’t get it done? Gotcha, big fella.

“It is a gift to the Democrat Party, compliments of Mitch McConnell and some RINOs [Republicans in name only], who have no idea what they are doing,”‘

It might be – might be – half of what Biden actually wanted. That is hardly a “gift.” Additionally, the Republicans know damned well that the infrastructure bill is A) Needed, B) Popular, and C) Trump is their least concern on this issue.

This below is our favorite part, but one need only read the highlighted sections:

This is a 2,700 page bill that no one could have possibly read—they would have needed to take speed reading courses. It is a gift to the Democrat Party, compliments of Mitch McConnell and some RINOs, who have no idea what they are doing. There is very little on infrastructure in all of those pages. Instead, they track your driving so they can tax you. It is Joe Biden’s form of a gas tax but far bigger, far higher and, mark my words, far worse. They want to track you everywhere you go and watch everything you do!

Pretend for a moment – just a moment – pretend he is right, someone evidently had time to read the 2700 page bill because Trump knows what’s in it! How does he not know that some of that might have been taken out or scaled-down?

The good news is that the progressive wing in the Democrat Party will lose all credibility with this approval. Additionally, Kevin McCarthy and Republican House members seem to be against the bill. If it can’t be killed in the Senate, maybe it dies in the House!

Demonstrating that Trump has absolutely no idea that the House works differently than the Senate, (even after serving four years as president), where Nancy Pelosi needs only to introduce a bill and if the majority passes it, it is passed.

We suspect that the real reason that Trump is furious, is that every week was infrastructure week (Until COVID, and then it became every week was COVID shouldn’t cut down on what you want to do, go out, have fun), etc, etc, etc, and then every week became “This was Stolen” week – and still is.
