Florida Man’s governor, Florida man Ron-Don Santis, wants Biden to follow his lead in COVID because Florida is internationally known as… the Florida of COVID treatment. We got suckered into a satire headline (so did everyone else, by the way) a few weeks ago and so we had to check this one hard. Is this satire? Does Ron-Don really think that he’s set an example for the nation? Why yes, yes he does.

According to the Daily Beast:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, speaking to Fox News on Wednesday, said that President Joe Biden had failed to “end COVID,” whereas his state was experiencing “great success” in treating patients. “You know, he said he was going to end COVID. He hasn’t done that. We are the first state to start the treatment centers for monoclonal antibodies. We’re having great success with that.

Obviously, if the state had done a better job with vaccinations and masks, they wouldn’t have to be doing so many monoclonal antibody treatments at $1500 a pop. Biden’s idea (and recall, he was not only on pace but double so) was to have the entire country vaccinated by July 4th. Had the entire country been vaccinated by then and had Ron-Don acted like a real governor, he wouldn’t know how to spell “monoclonal” or COVID.

That should have been a bigger plan, a bigger part of this whole response throughout the country from the beginning. At the end of the day, he is trying to find a way to distract from the failures of his presidency,” DeSantis said. 

Oh, this guy is the next Trump, through and through, preach it, preach it!! Yes, Biden’s presidency has been such a failure and all (it’s tough to end wars) that Biden thought he would stuff Florida’s ICUs with sick people and have – at one point – 20% of all new COVID cases coming from… Florida man.
