This is an increasingly common theme among the MAGAs. Those who are forced to wear masks, either at work or their kids at school, believe that they’re akin to the Jews that Hitler literally destroyed. Masks versus train cars and gas chambers.

Only in America. We aren’t sure how Marjorie Taylor-Greene, one of the first politicians to make the comparison kept her job, but it’s also becoming increasingly common for such people to lose their livelihood, the way they pay the bills.

Meet Paul Marcum, a tennis and fitness instructor at a health club in Detroit Michigan. During a recent school meeting on, you guessed it, masks, Marcum stood up, faced Suzanne Busdiecker, who is Jewish, and two African-American women. All three women supported mask mandates. Marcum yelled “Heil Hitler” while giving a Nazi salute.

“It’s a hate crime and it happened on school property,” Busdiecker, a mother of a student entering middle school after a year of virtual learning, told Deadline Detroit. “I’m not taking it lightly.”

Nor should she. The other entity which didn’t take it lightly was Marcum’s employer, who quickly scrubbed his entire bio, along with his job as a staff member with the club.

As everyone reading this recognizes, this victimhood complex, first as the “wronged” losers of a stolen election, the folks who believe their First Amendment rights are being “canceled,” (They’re not, private organizations reject the racism and threats), vaccines and mask mandates, serve to do nothing but increase the fire that comes from seeing oneself as a victim among a large group of victims. These “victims” organize on FB and other social media platforms. The result is January 6th and possibly worse in the future.

The country got the obvious and right result in this instance, but this is nothing but a symptom, the underlying disease is getting nothing but more dangerous.
