How Matt Gaetz has been able to avoid arrest this long is just one of the many questions we’d like to angrily put to Merrick Garland, who – to this point, seems almost indistinguishable from Bill Barr.

If there is anyone in this country who shouldn’t be posting pictures of a woman to social media? Any woman? And especially not a woman in bed? And really really especially not a woman who has no idea her picture is being taken and did not consent to its release. But, of course, Matt Gaetz would. We know of fiances, perhaps even current ones, who might break off the wedding if someone posted a picture of her awake and smiling for a picture that she would never believe would be posted to social media.

If Matt Gaetz remains engaged right now, it would be as beguiling as the fact that he’s not been arrested. Actually, the fact that a woman said yes to a man who [allegedly] just graduated to adult lovers is beyond us. This is as inexplicable as Matt Gaetz’s continued presence in congress:
