Biden is destroying this nation right here at home.
Did you know that? And he said that no one knows that better than Alabama, and Trump loves Alabama, he loves Alabama, it was one of the only real applause lines of the night.
Trump sounded entirely sedated throughout the first half. He talked slowly and quietly with the exception of some arbitrary screams. Trump acted that he was still president, but for the fact that he would interject his “sir stories” and other greatest hits, including even the damned ramp at West Point, yes – he talked about the ramp that was the ice-skating rink. In spite of all the greatest hits discussed and the fact that the country has been destroyed, this is the story of the night:

It. Was. Obvious.
If one never watched real news and only watched Newsmax and Trump, one really would think that the Trump administration was perfect because he continued to talk – slowly – to no applause (virtually no applause) about all the perfection in the country when he left, and yet now, literally everything is a disgrace.
In seven months, Biden has destroyed the country. Everything was perfect, now there is literally nothing good. Trump had the audacity to bring up the facts that immigrants are bringing new variants of COVID into the country, when the truth is, had Trump’s followers gotten vaccinated this spring, the United States would be the world leader in getting to the other side of COVID.
One piece of good news, Trump, while extolling his own great vaccine, did manage to encourage people to get vaccinated. Very few people applauded:

Look at the sweat in the above picture. To be sure, it’s not “cold” in Alabama tonight, but it’s not that hot, either.
Good that he told his crowd to get vaccinated. If Trump just did a tour in which he told his MAGAs to get vaccinated, even we would tip our cap to him and acknowledge he did something good. Unfortunately, we don’t even have that.
And then, in a shocking move, after praising the Taliban, he ripped our on own military, noting that Patton wasn’t some “woke” general and that woke means “loser.”

At every turn, including his son two days ago, the Trump camp has been sure to refer to the military as “woke” which makes our military losers in comparison to the Taliban.
But the story of the night, at least the first half, was the sedate Trump. He did pick up his energy into the second half, but only when talking about the big lie. No one knows what Trump might have been talking about here:
Trump: You know what, we have to go in and we should go in when it’s right and we now may have to be forced to go in… We may be forced to go in and we may not be forced but we may be forced to go in pic.twitter.com/0iWbB3018J

The last half was nothing but another round of “greatest hits,” (the U.S. was the biggest energy producer in the world… but now… )
We will cover the highlights from the second half but we doubt that there will be a single new thing mentioned. His energy
