Let’s all kick back like we’re having a glass of wine around a campfire and think about whether it would be harder to do Trump or Biden’s true likeness as a robot thing. We will pretend one of our friends does this for Disney and we’re just throwing stuff out there (after all, that’s what they did on Fox News this morning).
Which guy has harder mannerisms to copy, more subtle movements? Let’s throw this out there as an obvious point, there is nothing subtle about Trump. To the extent that he has a thought going through that he is it “I’m tough, I’m a winner, How am I going to make money off this? She’s hot, I’d like to…”
Those four statements encompass every single look in Donald Trump’s and – helpfully, they’re all the same look! A predator, an alpha male who is thoroughly confused about the definition of alpha.
And now of course Fox went to “sleepy Joe,” they wanted pajamas, ice cream, a guy who looks half out of it half the time. What they do not want to show is Joe interacting with people because then he’s in his natural element. The smiles, the look of concern, the mourning, these are subtle moves that are infinitely harder to capture. But Fox isn’t interested in any of that “people” stuff:

First of all, you can be that Fox is airing this only so they can get their jokes in about not really having to do much of anything, but it’s Trump that we think is obvious. Put that glare in there, no mask. The glare has it covered:
I am tough. I am a winner. How am I going to make money on this? She is hot, I’d like to…”
All four in that glare. We think we have a clear winner. Pass the smores.
