As everyone knows, Kirstie is a big MAGA, always has been. For reasons passing understanding, one’s faith in Trump in “most” areas translates to adherence to all aspects of the conservative MAGA movement. We aren’t exactly sure why someone who loves Trump’s idiocy in most areas has to suddenly hate progress in LGBTQ civil rights and social acceptance. They mock the fact that we’ve awoken to centuries of ab*se, and yet it would seem that the opposite is the real insult.

Before we are forced to inset Kirstie’s awful tweets and the responses, we think that it’s entirely fair to point out that when Kirstie gained weight in the middle of her career, she was the very first to complain about how she was being judged unfairly and that she was proud of who she was. She was right then. There is no excuse for body-shaming under any circumstances and science (the field that finds facts) has made a lot of progress in understanding that some people can eat healthily and exercise and yet still carry extra pounds. Body-shaming is unforgivable, we should wish people good health, mentally and physically, and accept that healthy mind and body.

So it’s somewhat ironic that Kirstie, who received a lot of support from the feminist community and the left, just posted this:

No, we don’t think she’s “kidding,” we think she’s insane.

The left considers “open-mindedness” as accepting a person’s true self, but only to the extent that their true self doesn’t hurt others. We would never accept the above because it – obviously – hurts someone, creating a victim, and the left prides itself in protecting the oppressed. Similarly, we often hear the argument that someday the left will advocate inc*st as legal. Consenting adults and all.  Wrong again, the possibility of a child born in such a relationship produces a victim, not to mention that more often than not, any instances of such activity almost always involves a victim.

Kirstie makes the same mistake that most on the Right make. They believe that the left simply wants to “unleash all norms.” Wrong. The left wants to unleash people to be their true selves and alleviate the pain they feel in having to hide in society. We celebrate that our LGBTQ friends get to live their life with pride. The Right prefers people to live in shame because it serves the Right’s purposes, the world is less scary.

Alley wasn’t done and on this, she’s just factually wrong, easily proven wrong:

Teen pregnancies fall when economic welfare goes up. Families in a better economic position are more able to put their teens in schools where they get the proper education and have the resources to prevent pregnancy. Additionally, it has been proven over and over that teens are less s*xually active when the mystery and taboo are lifted. It is no longer a way to rebel., it’s out in the open. Teen pregnancies plummet when we educate them as to the facts. Provide all the tools needed to prevent pregnancy. And, most importantly, instead of demanding abstinence, explain reality. Teach teens about the risk of emotional pain when one’s mental maturity lags behind one’s physical maturity.

Even dumb writers know this. Twitter knows far more:

We really want to highlight the tweet below which may win “Most Ironic Tweet Of the Year.” As everyone knows, Trump is the one that talked about dating his daughter, called his daughter “hot” at 16, said that the thing they had most in common was s*x, admitted to walking through the changing room for Ms. Teen USA, was one of Jeffery Epstein’s best friends until a business fallout (not a moral disagreement), bragged about a&&aulting women on tape – including married women, paid off Stormy, and was credibly accused – with specifics that sounded hard to create with one’s imagination – of ab*sing a 13-year-old.

And one more, below, we wish to destroy a self-important MAGA talking point:

If God wants people to treat LGBTQ people abusively and force them to either hide their true selves or “convert” (which cannot be done), then that’s their God’s problem and he’s as big a problem as they are. But we suspect that when Jesus said “Above all else, love one another,” he meant accept and love people who are different, no matter how much that might scare you. We have no trouble saying that God wants these people to do less judging, less proselytizing, and focus on doing a few good works… like accepting someone for who they are.

Oh, and fck you, Kirstie.
