One cannot understand Trump or “the Trumps” meaning the inner core without realizing that they think the “smartest” people are all in business in New York making as much money as possible.

When they came in, the Obama administration tried to run them through a drill, it happened to be a simulated epidemic, and the Trumpers weren’t willing to play after a couple of hours. They thought the Obama people “were stupid.”

Jared Kushner routinely brushed off the intelligence community as “stupid” because they’re just “government employees.” In one particularly difficult interview, Kushner stopped mid-sentence and said; “Look, we have business people running this government, unlike the rest of them, we hold people accountable like in business.”

It was grotesque. The Trumps think that people who dedicate their lives to government service are – by definition – dumber than them. They also do not understand that $187,000 a year (or the equivalent at the time, a Senator’s salary) saved and invested properly, can lead to a decent sum of money that one can reinvest in property. Especially over a 50 year career.

So Donald Trump fundamentally cannot understand how it is that Joe Biden can have own… two houses. Trump said Biden owned a “bunch” of houses and that they were mansions. Biden has two very nice homes, worth well over a million, but well within the reach of someone who has made what most people consider very good money for over 45 years.

Trump even said, “Does Louis Gohmert have mansions all over Texas? I don’t think so. Got one house and that’s enough, that’s all you need, right Louie? Wants to go home to his bathroom and bedroom and use his one toothbrush, right? No, but Joe has a lot of toothbrushes.”

Louis Gohmert doesn’t have a bank account because the forms are all so complicated, he keeps his money in cash, in two dressers in the living room, labeled “Cash” in big letters. And he rents the house, pays with “Cash.”

The Trumps have been making so much of an effort to paint Biden as shady and corrupt and it’s just not working. Hunter should not have been on that Board in the Ukraine, no doubt about it, but it wasn’t illegal, and Joe’s position, which matched Europe’s was actually against the company’s interests. And they haven’t noticed, but Hunter isn’t president.

It is so ironic that Trump (Is still talking about Biden, for one) that he doesn’t believe that anyone who wasn’t born with millions of dollars, could possibly be successful enough in America to have two nice houses, and that’s the worst thing Trump can come up with.

Meanwhile, Trump is bankrupting properties, even though he did start out with hundreds of millions. Only Trump.
