Trump spent at least one week out of every month of his presidency declaring that it was “infrastructure week” in the Trump administration.
It never lasted past noon on Monday. In case anyone hasn’t noticed, no infrastructure deal got done while Trump was president and there is a reason for it. Trump couldn’t do it.
He didn’t know how to do it. He didn’t know why it needed to be done. And most damningly, it wasn’t about him. It was all about stupid roads and bridges, nothing on which he could put a Trump sign.
Today, Trump freaked the ffff out because it looks like some kind of possible infrastructure deal might get done. (Assuming Kyrsten Sinmaa gets off her power high and starts to act like a Democrat.) One thing we know, Trump does not want an infrastructure deal done if he isn’t president.
Pay close attention to Trump priorities as to why this is a bad idea:
Hard to believe our Senate Republicans are dealing with the Radical Left Democrats in making a so-called bipartisan bill on “infrastructure,” with our negotiators headed up by SUPER RINO Mitt Romney. This will be a victory for the Biden Administration and Democrats, and will be heavily used in the 2022 election. It is a loser for the USA, a terrible deal, and makes the Republicans look weak, foolish, and dumb. It shouldn’t be done. It sets an easy glidepath for Dems to then get beyond what anyone thought was possible in future legislation. It will be a continued destruction of our Country.
At least we know that Trump wrote this one. “A continued destruction of our country?” He went on further, but it was more “border, crime, terrible economy,” sh*t that we always hear.
The above is the informative part. This is a bad deal because he doesn’t like the people involved and it will make the Democrats look good going into 2022. Case closed.
What an asshole. He truly doesn’t care about the country. Everything is transactional. If this is for the good of the country but bad for Trump, we know exactly how Trump will come down on it. Not a surprise. But this is the reason that most presidents keep their mouths shut after leaving office.
