We should note this right up top. Even though there is likely no chance that Michelle Obama played a role in Facebook’s decision to bank Trump, we think it would just kick so much ass if she did and they were persuaded.

In Trump’s lawsuit, he says that Michelle Obama and the Democrats played a role in “Coercing Facebook to ban him.” We suspect that Democrats did play a role, just like we suspect that every citizen in the country who isn’t a self-proclaimed MAGA, played a role. At the time of the suspension, that list would have included Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell.

As everyone knows, Trump believes he has a First Amendment Right to a Twitter Account, and to prove it, he is going to complain that others used their First Amendment Rights:

Trump also took issue with a statement Obama issued the day after January’s U.S. Capitol attack, in which she said it was “time for Silicon Valley companies to stop enabling this monstrous behavior.” She added that the companies needed to “permanently ban this man from their platforms,” referring to Trump.

Yeah, but every other sane person said the same thing/

Her statement, according to the lawsuit, exemplifies the views of legislators who are making it “increasingly clear” that they want Trump and the “views and content” he espouses banned from Facebook.

We only wish it was clearer. It sure seems like the content of his statements to Congressional leaders isn’t limited, is increasingly clear, and not about to be banned from Congress.

The former president also called out Vice President Kamala Harris for urging Facebook to suspend his account and noted that President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi backed revoking Section 230 of the federal Communications Decency Act. When heads of social media companies were required to appear at numerous congressional hearings where they were subjected to “lengthy, embarrassing questioning,” it was part of an attempt to coerce them to ban him, Trump claimed.

So?

We said in a previous article that we never ever want to hear the word snowflake come out of a MAGAs mouth again. The original snowflake is now in court, complaining that others persuaded a private company to determine he wasn’t wanted. Sounds like a snowflake to us.
