From the “Office of The Woman Who Told Us that the Jacket Was a Message to the Media,” Melania Trump is sick of those American books coming out using their American right to free speech and wants you to know that none of this stuff is believable and it’s idle gossip.
So f-you if you’re reading them. Believe her.
Melania Trump has no more credibility than Donald Trump. This is the woman who believed that she should only receive fawning press coverage. Just like Trump, every single negative fact printed was false.
If the New York Times wrote something complimentary, they both took absolute credit for it. The very next day, that same New York Times would be called “Fake News Failing New York Times” and neither seemed to care that the double standard was that blatant and obvious.
Melania was also just as petty. It never mattered how irrelevant or how innocuous the coverage, if she didn’t like it, she couldn’t help herself and would pout out something that made her sound that much more entitled.
And she hasn’t missed a beat, apparently. If you are reading books that trash her, you are the one with the problem and it’s her job to tell you. Her statement:
How can people believe any of the books discussing Mrs. Trump’s life? Stories about her are idle gossip, many of which are misleading, and only some the truth. Writers have no credibility. Books are fiction, and readers should be cautious about what they choose to believe.
It comes from her office and yet is written in third person as if the statement doesn’t come directly from her. Additionally, “writers” (apparently all of them) have no credibility. But she most certainly does. So, again, be careful about what you choose to believe unless it’s from the Right and flattering. In that case, believe it all.
At least her office is on Twitter, though.
