Friday night, we covered Don Jr.’s speech at the Dallas version of CPAC – It’s normal CPAC with a ten-gallon pointed hat – but we confined ourselves to how he sounded through the first few minutes. He did not sound “clear-headed” and that’s all we’ll say about that.

And like the true energizer bunny he’s now known to be, Junior covered all the hits, putting in a few new ones and project, projecting, projecting, Hunter Biden and the administration, even going so far as to say that Hunter Biden can sell paintings and charge $500,000. Well, Junior can have someone write a book for him and make far more than that!

Fox covered all the outrageous stuff as if it’s actual fact, and we start with Russia because it is so absurd:

He roasted the media for saying that the “proof” that President Biden “hasn’t lost it” or “riddled with dementia” was by pointing to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s comments calling the president “smart.”

The media didn’t say it was “proof.” Beating Trump in the debates was proof he was plenty sharp. But remember, projection, projection, projection.

“I don’t know. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say if it was Donald Trump that Vladimir Putin said that about, it’d be a slightly different response,” Trump Jr. told the crowd. “Did you ever think that maybe Vlad is thrilled to be negotiating against a dolt? 

There is iron-clad proof that Vlad did all he could to elect Trump, and then reelect Trump. Vladimir Putin is the one person (well, one of 2-3) that Trump will not cross. Trump even gave Putin a nice big smile!

Junior then explained why everyone loves the Trumps:

“We actually fight. We’ll actually push back, right? That’s what Donald Trump did for the Republican Party. He showed that you don’t have to just turn the other cheek, roll over and die as the other side gets what they want and laughs their way to the bank,” he explained. “We need you guys in that fight with us… They can’t cancel all of us.”

Mitch McConnell stole a SCOTUS seat long before Trump was elected. It seemed like the GOP fought pretty damn well in 2000, with the Florida recount, too. All the GOP knows to do is fight. What the Trumps did bring to the GOP was the most intense hatred of the Democrats. That’s what the crowd yearned for.

Then, the highlight of the evening:

“How do we get what we want from the Democrat Party? Just buy Hunter’s art,” Trump Jr. knocked the president’s son. “What do you think the media reaction would be to ‘Don Jr. smoking parmesan cheese?’ I promise you it wouldn’t be what we saw from the media. It would be a little different. And then I say that and they say ‘Oh, you’re making fun of people with addiction’ … I totally understand addiction. It’s terrible. We all know people that have suffered from it. It doesn’t absolve you from being a total piece of garbage in every other aspect of your life. It doesn’t absolve you from selling access to the highest levels of government. It doesn’t absolve you from selling out your country. It doesn’t absolve you from, I don’t know, child support from the stripper you knocked up a couple of years ago… Because I have a feeling that if it was me, I would not be absolved.”

Don Jr. wrote out an hour or two’s worth of notes and had someone else write a book, then had it “sold” to Right-Wing causes all over, surely making more than $500,000. (It is slimy either way).

Drug use? See the rumors, see the first five minutes of Junior’s speech last night. He is projecting here, and saying it doesn’t “absolve someone” – so he can say he lived a good life.

We have no idea what he’s talking about with strippers, but he’s four years out of divorcing the beautiful and intelligent mother of his five children for a woman who likes to talk to crowds about dressing up like a schoolgirl for him and once (jokingly) offered a lap dance for the highest donation in a crowd.
