What the hell is going on over at Fox? One hour you have Tucker Carlson and Laura stoking up vaccine conspiracy theories, and at another hour you have Hannity – now – talking about believing in science and the vaccine, while also complaining about “this country requiring vaccination.”

This country is not requiring vaccinations, and the moment the federal government does mandate a vaccine, we’ll probably be out front objecting. But the federal government is not even considering that sort of requirement. The administration did say that they would support a municipality or county that decided to require it.

When the Founders set up the federal government, they intended the states to be the entities that took care of the “general health and welfare” of the citizenry.

Whereas the federal constitution has seven articles and a Bill of Rights/Amendments, many are surprised to hear that some states have 20-30 articles in their constitutions. But it’s all due to the fact that the states are the ones charged with the more “general” welfare laws.

Municipalities and counties can go even further in protections (so long as not violating a state or federal constitution), that’s the way it is supposed to work. A citizen has far more power at the local level than with the federal government.

Sean Hannity either knows all this and faking his outrage, or he’s genuinely surprised. It could go either way. What is genuinely surprising to us is that “suddenly” Sean is saying that he “wants his audience to live,” to “take this thing seriously,” and “talk to their doctor,” which is astonishingly… practical, healthy, normal stuff for Fox?

What the hell happened, did one of Sean’s friends get sick? Did he get served with a lawsuit?
