According to firebrand idiot, lying, heavy partying-frat boy Madison Cawthorn, a few of the people at this website do not care about the country, despite spending ten hours a day, every day, attempting to spread the word about what is happening here and how we believe we can improve it.
Moreover, many people who work for a living, as opposed to going to the mailbox or having trust funds dumped into their possession, do not “own” property in the United States, and some of them are the most passionate about changing the country for the better. Madison just doesn’t like them. We suspect Madison just bought (or inherited) his first piece of property within the last four years.
Here is the man who wants to limit control of this country to those who own dirt:
When I continue to think about what they’re trying to do to our country, the fact that they are allowing this epidemic of abortion, has been sweeping the nation, which enables people to not be able to have a family; when they are raising student loans so high that people will never be able to afford a home loan to buy a house, so therefore they are forever having to have a mortgage — you think about it, and so these people don’t own any property, they don’t have a family and they have no children. So this means that they have no vested interest in the future of their country, because they don’t care about the next generation.
Well, without getting to specific, one of us here, definitely had a child despite having debt, (as do millions and millions) and has a daughter that he cares more about than himself. One of us cares so much about the future of this country that the daughter’s had her dual Canadian citizenship updated. We care so much that we’re fighting the Cawthorn’s of the world and if we lose badly enough such that this country becomes the Republican dream, permanent, iron-fisted, minority rule, well – then we care enough about the “next generation” so much that they have an opportunity to GTFO.
We don’t even really know what he’s all tying together here with abortion, student loans, and that. We DO know that voting rights will eventually be tied to the “vested interest, property ownership,” as it was when the country was first formed. That is the end game, he’s just not smart enough to articulate it.
Thankfully, Cawthorn isn’t even taken seriously in his own crowd. We suspect he’s one of those very few ultra-MAGAs that will face a tough challenger in the primary. But regardless, this is the type of poison coming from the far-right these days. We should also ask ourselves; If Donald Trump ever heard that some Republicans wanted to confine voting rights (which is where this type of thinking is going) to property owners, everyone knows he would think it’s a fantastic idea.
Scary. It is scary that anyone would believe it in the first place, never mind say it.
