Jen Psaki, President Biden’s Press Secretary, is a far cry from her predecessors. Sarah Sanders, Sean Spicer, and Kayleigh McEnany are paid liars, but she isn’t one of them. After the last four years with Donald Trump at the helm, Psaki is a breath of fresh air. She also has a knack for mocking the former administration in hilarious ways.

Psaki was asked about the president’s claim that he has filed class-action lawsuits against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey after being impeached twice.

Psaki made it clear that the previous president isn’t a priority for the Trump administration, and she appeared to poke fun at Trump’s social media infatuation.

“I think it’s safe to say that the President spends a lot less time obsessing over social media than the former President,” she said. Psaki also said that “it’s a decision for the platforms to make.”

What a difference from the previous administration. Just last month, the former President released a bonkers statement, obviously still focused on the fact that he was deplatformed for inciting the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection.

After President Muhammadu Buhari’s contentious message was erased by Twitter, the former president thanked the Nigerian government for indefinitely suspending the social media platform. It only took that long for Trump to respond with a statement. Of course, Trump, like Nigeria, has urged for countries to prohibit Twitter. Then Trump claimed that, like the Nigerian government, he should have blocked Twitter.

“Perhaps I should have done it while I was President,” Trump added at the time. “But Zuckerberg kept calling me and coming to the White House for dinner telling me how great I was. 2024?”

And now we have a president who does not expose his minor grievances or seek to shut down businesses because his feelings have been injured. Adults have reclaimed control. Because he isn’t focused on problems that don’t concern the country, Biden is capable of overseeing vaccine distribution, among other things. Take, for example, Twitter and Facebook.
