For whatever reason, some platforms are blocking “insur*ection” and so we’ll be inserting asterisks throughout this very important report because we’ve been noting for months now that the whitewash of January 6th continues and has even sped up of late. But no one reading this column will ever forget the day that the nation came the closest it has come to losing its democracy since the 1860s. We were one Mike Pence fearful decision away. Consider that.

Laura Ingraham just declared the whitewash complete. On tonight’s show, she not only told her audience that the insur*ction, the one that mauled and hurt many Capitol police officers, this one below, was “faux,” a “faux” insurrection, she also declared it to be a dangerous Democratic and mainstream media weapon to be used against innocent MAGAs. She is referring to this event:

So, yes, tonight Laura Ingraham wanted to address the “faux insurr*ection” except she actually didn’t want to talk specifics about that day (they never do). No, Laura wanted to talk about the Democrats and “mainstream media’s” agenda with respect to that day.

You see, the reason that the Democrats and the media continue to talk about January 6th’s “faux insurr*ection” is that we want to use it as an excuse to do what we’ve always wanted, to shut down right-wing activism and silence right-wing advocacy. Actually, on this one particular thing, she might be right.

If Laura Ingraham is taking ownership of January 6th’s “faux insurr*ection” as just an example of right-wing organizing, right-wing advocacy, and right-right freedom of expression, then – yes, actually, we do want to shut it down. Laura surely noticed that her show is still on the air and she’s still paid millions, so we’re not very good at shutting down the right-wing messaging or organizing. But ideally, we are getting better at shutting down the stuff that threatens Democracy itself and the “faux” lives of police that get in the way of white people.

See? The Right is now the victim if anyone questions January 6th. It is just that easy and they are all in on it together. Strange how the week afterward changed so much, it seemed like something actually got through to them. But given enough time, the MAGAs can heal themselves of all responsibility, just imitate their leader from the beginning. There is never a need for introspection. They all know the bad guys remain on the left.
