Marjorie Taylor-Greene is a very dangerous person.

As we always do, we remind people that she met at the White House in late December, with Trump, to “plan” the January 6th protest. A first-term Congresswoman who had not even been sworn in yet, was at the White House to “plan” a protest. Why? We don’t have an answer, but we damned well want one.

Moreover, at Trump’s rally this last Saturday, none other than first-term Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke as a warm-up act. She whipped the crowd into a frenzy, inciting people that certainly don’t need incitement, thus putting Democrats in danger.

Forty Democrats, at least, are demanding that McCarthy do something. The demand is needed. But there’s nothing McCarthy can do. He is not in control of the House, Trump clearly controls McCarthy and MTG is a made-woman.

Nearly 40 House Democrats are demanding House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy take what they call “immediate action” to address the behavior of GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, whose actions, they say in a Thursday letter obtained by CNN, “could lead to violence against members of Congress.”

And what did she say that was so dangerous? Just a hint here:

Greene described Ocasio-Cortez as the “little communist from New York City,” and nodded in agreement with the crowd when they started shouting “lock her up.”

The Democrats write that they believe Greene’s conduct has reached an “unacceptable level,” referring to several incidents from her short tenure in Congress, including Greene’s posting of an anti-transgender sign outside of her office, directly across the hall from another lawmaker who has a transgender child.

“Rep. Greene’s conduct does not comport with what we expect from a member of the House of Representatives,” the letter reads. “Moreover, we are extremely concerned that her conduct is creating an unsafe work environment for members, and that her actions could lead to violence against members of Congress..”

Unfortunately, we all know what will come of this. Nothing. Trump wants dangerous people in Congress. He wants people that Democrats fear. Trump wants people that he calls “tough.” There is no clearer evidence regarding who controls the Republican party than the fact that MTG and Matt Gaetz continue to serve as Republican representatives.
