Now that he’s back as a private American citizen, more and more discoveries about now-former President Donald Trump have surfaced, as we predicted. Some have been revolting, others pitiful, and yet others, like this one, have been just repulsive.

Ira Rosen, a former 60 Minutes producer, recently published a new book packed of embarrassing information, including one about a White House meeting between Donald Trump and a National Enquirer editor during which the then-president spilled the beans on his romance with model Karen McDougal.

Rosen’s book, according to Lloyd Grove of The Daily Beast, is a montage of tales about the culture that surrounds the infamous Sunday night news program, as well as an attempt to clean up and salvage his own personal and professional reputation after he was “accused of creepy sexualized behavior toward younger women (allegations he heatedly rejects) as he tried in late 2018 to save the reputation of his longtime boss, then-executive producer, and former CBS News chairman Jeff Fager.”

An alleged conversation between Donald Trump and Dylan Howard of the Philadelphia Inquirer — meant to help Trump diffuse unflattering stories about him and hide the hush money payments with the help of publisher David Pecker — is contained within the pages of the 60 Minutes tell-all, titled Ticking Clock: Behind the Scenes at 60 Minutes — when the producer for the popular late-night news show was trying to bury the hush money payments with the help of publisher David Pecker.

Howard asked Trump about McDougal, a former Playboy model who had recently gone down for an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper to detail her romance with the former real estate “mogul” and reality tv washup, according to Rosen’s book. At one point during their talk, Trump revealed to Howard that he used to have a particular, hidden moniker for his mistress, and we’re fighting to keep our lunches.

According to an excerpt from the book, as reported on by Grove with the Daily Beast:

Trump had invited Howard and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker for dinner on July 12, 2017. Howard told me that while touring the executive residence of the White House, when he was just outside the Lincoln Bedroom, the president said to him, ‘Editor man, I’m glad I’ve been good for business.’

He then asked if the former Playboy model Karen McDougal still loved him. ‘Of course she does,’ Howard said. Trump seemed pleased. Trump then told Howard the secret nickname he had for her, ‘the Hoover Dam,’ Trump said, ‘because she was always so wet.’”
