Barron Trump and his mom Melania were on an outing to New York and were spotted leaving Trump Tower in Manhattan Wednesday, and it appears young Barron’s growth has been set on speed dial because he now towers over his mom, The Daily Mail reports.

Photos obtained by the Mail show the 15-year-old walking beside Melania, carrying her vintage limited edition orange Louis Vuitton x Richard Prince bag while she carried an $11,000 Hermes Birkin bag. She rounded out the rest of her look in a black button-down shirt and crisp white pants. Oh, and a pair of $645 Christian Louboutin flats.

I’d like to try that look but in a house, with 13 cats and two dogs, I don’t think that would work. Oh well.

But perhaps the biggest change for Melania since she left the White House has been keeping up with her son’s skyrocketing clothing sizes since Barron is now 6’7.” Something that dad Donald Trump couldn’t help bragging about to the crowd at last month’s North Carolina GOP convention.

It’s been reported that Donald Trump is either 6’3″ or 6’2.” Melania is 5’11.”

Last year The International Business Times reported that Eric Trump is 6’5″ but Barron has now blown past that. Donald Trump Jr. is 6″1,’ while Ivanka is also 5″11′ and Tiffany is 5″8.’

Barron has maintained a low profile since his parents moved back to Mar-a-Lago and has only been seen in public a handful of times, including in April when he played a round of golf with his father at the Trump International Golf Course in April. His recent expedition with his mom occurred three days after the former president was seen arriving at his Fifth Avenue residence after a rally in Sarasota, Florida.

It’s not clear at this point if Melania is still living at Mar-a-Lago, as an upcoming bombshell book by Michael Wolff, Landslide: The Final Days of The Trump Presidency, the former first lady may not spend much of her time at the resort.

“Maybe Melania lives here,” he writes. “For four years in the White House, it was never quite clear how much time she was spending at the White House or in a house in Maryland where she had settled her parents.”

Wolff’s book is set for publication on July 13, and I’m going to point out here that there may be some credibility issues with his book because the author doesn’t always suitably back up his claims.

But what’s crystal clear here is this: Barron Trump is a young man with the world at his feet. I’m hoping he grows up to be wise and empathetic but considering his father and the rest of his family I’m not feeling optimistic about this.
