These types of situations are sadly inevitable. When a famous or powerful parent wants strict privacy concerning their child, the public will note it’s the first picture this year and he’s grown about 4 inches. Barron is the son of a former president and the son of a wanna be president and current Boss Hog. There will be reports on Barron.
We need not worry about any of them. This site has proudly noted that we felt bad for poor Barron from day one. We only hope he has another male figure in his life to give him the off-ramp for how to be a man. We did say that hundreds of millions of kids have it worse, worrying about food security. It was still no excuse for all the males in the Trump family.
So today, the “news” trending on Twitter is how the media handled the matter, which consisted almost exclusively “Here is a new Pic of Barron, He’s really grown!, Now the debate is literally almost like treating him as if he doesn’t exist, whether people should write anything at all about Barron.
Please don’t comment on kids’ appearances.
Please don’t invade kids’ privacy.
Please don’t “joke” about kids.
Please leave kids alone and let kids be kids.— Chelsea Clinton (@ChelseaClinton) July 9, 2021
We get where Chelsea’s coming from but if the comment is nothing more than “Pictured together… He’s grown 4 inches,” it’s not all that hurtful but we could live with the rule. Nobody immediately pointed out that at 6’7, Barron is six inches taller than his dad, taller than any Trump. And genetics can be freaky (we are joking on that as an example.)
But there is a debate raging over the net about whether to ever reference the kids. As near as we can tell, these are the two most reasonable sides to the “debate:”

Both true, but if one cannot see the difference between the Chelsea Clinton abuse and the “mention” that Barron got one has bigger issues. Unless one just wants to draw a clear line that we pretend he isn’t alive, it seems that nothing that Bannon was pictured and is taller is awfully benign.
